Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is a retro-style action game developed by Inti Creates and game creator Koji Igarashi. The game is available on Nintendo Switch and features Zangetsu, a demon slayer who must travel through perilous lands to defeat a powerful demon lurking in a dark castle. Along the way, Zangetsu will meet fellow travelers who can join your journey as playable characters.
Switching between these characters with their unique abilities will unlock new paths through the treacherous stages. The game's difficulty changes based on your choices in recruiting these adventurers, and it may even affect the ending. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon was promised as a stretch goal of the 2015 Kickstarter campaign for "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" and features 8-bit style graphics that add to the retro feel of the game.
